An Interesting Visit

Today a group of us decided to visit Sia our BTM lecturer yesterday. Well the group eventually turned out to be just 3 cus that was all who finally went over, RR, Kelvin and Me. Haha. It was a very nice visit. We met at Dover, and took a taxi over to his house in Pasir Panjang.

Upon arrival, his door bell did not seem to ring, the just behind his car we saw him watering his plants. Haha. We all waved to get his attention. As we entered his house, we wished his happy new year and gave him oranges and I gave him a bottle of South African red wine. He was happy to see us; at least that’s how it seemed. Haha. Just then his dog started jumping on us, it was then that I realized that RR and Kelvin did not really fancy dogs. Haha. We were severed with traditional cookies and Coke. Soon Sia was giving us a mini tour of his house, and boy does he hv stuff to fill his house. Everywhere u turned to it was either something old or something made. From century old beds to clocks and a HUGE pool table. We leant soon learnt how exotic Sia was. He loves to keep pets. And ya he has all kinda of animals in his house, from fishes to snakes, dogs, crickets, spiders, scorpions and rabbits, oh ya an eel too. After the tour we decided hv a round of pool. 1st game was between Kelvin and I. Well Kelvin won, haha. Next was Kelvin and Sia, Kelvin won again haha. RR well, I think she has never touched a pool table before, she had no idea wot to do with which things haha. Sitting on around the table, we continued our conversation. Topics such as goose liver to property and hen eggs and tunas came abt. Haha. Then he showed us his hen eggs, they were like a bigger version of a quail egg, but far smaller then a chicken egg. Haha. As the tuna topic came abt, sia took out the HUGE frozen tuna and showed us. He then insisted on me to take home that fish to my dad. I was like WTF, thought I did not say that loud. Haha. He kept asking me to take it home. It was kinda funny. We sat and chatted for a little longer, we then decided to depart just after 6pm. At that point sia’s wife came out and said her good byes and thank yous. Then I walked away then, sia stilled forced me to take that tuna fish. It was kinda strange. I was telling him what my dad would think, I go to my lecture’s house for CNY and come back with a tuna fish? Wot a combination haha. Well sia send us to Dover. Haha he realized that he did not hv any gas. And also realized that he did not bring his wallet. Haha. He borrowed $20 from Kelvin to top up. Haha. Well after that Kelvin and I went to get a drink at some place. We sat there for a little while chatting. Soon we left to our own destination.

It was interesting outing I shall say. I had fun. Haha. But I think this long weekend is too long. I felt really wasted, like I could hv done so many things but I could not, haha. Well it was still worth it. a welcome break from the stress of sch. Well tmr its all back to reality. Hope sch is better in this new year. Good luck to all having their exams soon. Take care and stay healthy. I hv learnt that many for me friends hv fallen ill. I do hope they recover soon. Ok cya next time, oh my Happy New Year again.

God Bless.

What a Day!

I had an awful start to the day yesterday, thought the rest of the day was cool. It all started on the bus ride to school.

I was heading to school on bus 74 early at 7am. Traffic was pretty heavy along Bukit Timah Road. I was standing since passenger traffic was heavy too. While traveling, the bus suddenly jam braked. I held on to the pole to prevent myself from falling, though one other guy did not. His shoulder headed straight for my little finger when he fell. Upon impact I felt a surge of blood running to my brains. The pain was terrible! It was my little finger. Soon it started to bleed. Thought the guy apologized many time, it was’t really his fault, I was the bus drivers! I wrapped my finger in tissue, till I got to school.

When I arrived in school, I went to the toitle to clean my wound, and boi did i get a shock. I unwrapped the tissue only to find my nail was covered with blood, and the finger was purple and red. At that point I knew that I had blood clot. Running finger under the tap was awful cus the pain intensified. When I got to class RR gave a band aid. I took it and wrapped my pinky in it. It was painful.

Then to make my already horrible start to the end of the week, a HUGE roach was seen running in the classroom. And well I hv a phobia for it. I HATE ROACHES!!! It was running everywhere. At one point it run over RR bag, which was on the table, I was sitting next to her. I just moved as far as possible. Well it ran somewhere after that, thought I never found out if it was killed or was hiding.

Well that was the worst start to a day since I can remember. Despite these events, the rest of the day went by pretty smoothly. A group of us were finishing up our reports that was technically due yesterday, but our intension was to hand it in after the long weekend.

Well I do hope my pinky get back to normal soon, hope the blood clot disappears, and wish I have a great New Year!

Like to wish everyone a Happy Lunar New Year!
Take care & enjoy the long weekend.
God Bless

French Intelligence

This is a ture story, it clearly displays the french intelligence. Judge it for yrself.
French police have worked out why they couldn't identify a murder victim. Frustrated detectives had been trying to identify the woman, said to have been in her 30s, for two years without success.

Her skeleton was found in December 2001 during an exceptionally low tide near the Brittany seaside town of Plouezoc'h.

Police reckoned a 14 cm gash to the skull suggested she had been bludgeoned to death with a hatchet or other sharp object.

Missing persons' files were consulted and DNA tests carried out to establish if the skeleton was that of a Normandy doctor who disappeared in 1999. All proved negative.

The mystery was solved last week only after radio carbon dating of the bones suggested the woman had died some time between 1401 and 1453.

She was declared as killed by pirates.

Strange morning, Beautiful day, Quiet night

What a morning I had! I had to dig through my wardrobe to find some other polo tee to wear. All because of one lad! I’m that kinda person who prepares what I am going to wear the next day. Ya ya I know to some it may seem rather feminine, well to bad that’s my routine.

So this morning I got a text message at 7:30am from Milton, “Hey dun wear e brown giodarno polo tee u haf. I wearin today”. Reading the text message I was just shocked, cus it was a HUGH coincidence. That was wot I prepare to wear the night before. I did not wear it for little over a week, so I decided to slip it on. But when I got the text I was like, WTH! So I then texted him telling him that I have only shirts n their weren’t iron, n if I were to iron one, I would take me a while n I would be late. Few texts flew around. He was like F*** la, just don’t wear, wear another day. Well after much searching, I finally found one other polo tee. I was kinda glad.

Honestly I would not hv bothered to look for another. But then its Milton, haha, and he said something that made me decided that maybe I should change. He said that since I bought that tee, he never wanted to wear his to sch. Cus of this reason and that fact that if I were to turn up in sch with that brown tee, Milton would be kinda pissed, so I decided to change. Well Milton next time I would help if u text me the night before, not half hour before I’m to depart from home. Haha

Well sch was great today, rather fun I shall say, during lunch SY, Yeo and I had a pretty nice chat. From my point, there seem to be trouble waters aheard, but sailing away from it seems to be harder then sailing these waters. (WOW!!! That was a beautiful statement haha) I hope that these problems get sloved soon. It would be a great relive from our backs.

BTM lesson was rather interesting. A far cry from a week ago where I felt like I was going to faint. Haha. There was one incident that happened today that made me laugh pretty loud, haha. While SY was drawing his bungalow, he then lost him ‘accu draw’, SO Jab came to me to ask where he can find it. He returned to SY but could not find it on his com. Therefore, I moved over to lend a helping hand. Strangely, I myself could not find it, then after 5 mins of trying, haha, Jab found it behind one of the windows that we never moved to see. The 3 of us burst out laughing, cus I was right under our noses but he never saw it, ahaha. (To an ordinary person reading this, u would not get the joke, u had to be there).

Well I liked today despite the strange morning had. Today was pleasant, u know strangely, I found today different from other days, dunno why. It was kinda relax, free, fun, fantastic. Haha

Hope sch can always be like this.

Tonight it is going to be rather quiet. I'm all alone at home. haha. Lets enjoy this peace

Take care

God Bless

New Home

After months of searching, my family and I finally found the perfect next home to move to. We have lived in this present home all over I life. Me dad stayed here since he was 5, me bro and I were born here. Haha. Its carries sentimental values. Despite all this, we have convinced ourselves that its time to move on.

Yesterday, we opened the new and completed house for the very fist time. It was a jubilant moment! We said a little prayer and enjoyed the presents of being in a house that we would soon call home. Soon ideas were flying around as to what design goes where and stuff. I was planning my room with bold ideas, only time would see if its boldness would overpower it practicality. It was in experience I hv never felt before. My family & I hv never moved home, this would be our 1st, and its something to remember.

I just can’t wait to move in to me new home. Oh I also realized that me moving to the new home would mean that I would be living closer to 2 of me best mates, SY & Suj. Haha. The only mate I know who is living close to me at my present home is, Daniel. Well hope this would mean I could spend little more time with them, haha. Well let us see how things go. I do wish that this new path would carry on bringing joy and happiness to this home.

Have a great week ahead

God Bless.

Winter has decended upon this tiny Tropical Island

A tropical island that is famous for its sunny beaches, cool romantic night, and it delicious chili crabs, suffered a blow of chill air that lasted for a week. To add to this bleak weather, rain swelled the tiny island’s drains, which cause flooding at many parts of Singapore. This unexpected weather came as a surprise to many who were expecting to venture out to prepare themselves for the approaching Lunar New Year. Disappointingly, this week only saw many damp shoes at the entrances of homes, only to go to work and sch and back.

One observation that I guarantee you is, that in approximately 9 months there would be a surge in deliveries in KK hospital. Reason, simple, many couples stayed at home snuggled under the blankets only to leave our imagination to complete the sentence.

This kinda freak weather was what plagued the past year and killed thousand throughout the world. Unfortunately, we are experiencing this phenomenon at the start of the year that was to bring change from the yester years.

Two nights ago was the coldest night that my room has ever experienced, when the mercury dropped to a shocking 19.8'C. Average temperatures here are from 24'
C to 32'C. Despite this cold week, it is said that the rain is here to continue to dampen our footwear for the next few days; thought the chill is to give way to warmth that has been deprived from us for the past week.

So let us enjoy this rare weather and stop our complains, cus I think it would take years before we ever experience this again, it could well not be in our life time too. However, do keep yrself warm and hv fun, the weekend is here. Time to party!!!

A for me it’s a really important weekend, it is when my family and I get the key to the new house! Tmr at 11am, I would hv a new home, can’t wait for that. I do pray that the new home would continue to bring happiness and prosperity.

Even now I ready miss my friends, SY, Mils and Herm, and it has only been 6 hours since I last saw them. Maybe its cus I know I wouldn’t be seeing them for the next few days. AHHH dunno how I’ll go through the week without them. Haha. Well I just hv to wait and see.

For the rest hope yr test went well, keep warm and enjoy this weekend!

This I feel is going to be a fantastic weekend.

Take care

God Bless.

I let u down again, I'm sorry!

I would like to apologies deeply for letting u down again Milton. The 1st was the previous CAD presentation and 2nd today’s CAD presentation. Ironically, both situations dealt with CAD.

Of all the day, I mean of all the day I had to fall ill today. Because of the malady, I had to skip my presentation again. I am sorry again to all my group mates. I have yet to hear how the presentation went, but I have faith in my mates to pull it off.

Sorry! Forgive my action. Don't be angry with me pls. Thanks.

Finally Finished!

Finally, after months of slogging, hard work, late nights, stressful times and fun times with Milton, we finished the CAD mini-project, which was not that mini after all. lol
It was really difficult to complete cus, simply we did not get any help at all. I mean our lec did not help in any way.
This is an example:
us: How do u draw the ridge?
lec: 1st so to place linear form, the use top view and draw like this.
us: oh ok
lec: hey how come cannot?
us: (giggles)
lec: wait let me try again. hey still cannot.
us: (shake our heads)
lec: wait i go ask someone
(she never returned to tell us how to do it)
This was weekly routine during our CAD lesson. So let me then leave it to u to judge how much we learned with this lec.
Nevertheless, with our little knowledge and inquisitive mind, we compeleted it
today.
Tmr we hv a presentation, honestly i dunno if the lecs would be happy that we did all this without any help, or be disappointed cus we did not meet their standard. Tmr we shall see
Good Luck to all who r doing this presentation, (that includes me)
God Bless

Cool Week!

So far so good! lol This 1st week of the year has been great. Everything good and everything fun occupied the week.

Monday – Day after New Year’s day
It was great spent time at home. Kinda bored, sat around enjoying the public holiday after the busy new year’s day.

Tuesday – (read previous blog entry)

Wednesday – I got back my Math & Struc Mech. Strangely I got 77 for both. Strange! Coincidence! I was happy and sad my these results. I did better then my last test, but many of me friends did far better then me. I mean far better. I am clearly unsure on wot I should do. I study, yet my results do not really show it. Nevertheless, I kept to my promise and told myself to stay positive. I gave Siyong and Milton their long due x mas gifts. Milton really liked it. I was happy. I would just work harder then before for my exams. I gave Siyong and Milton their long due x mas gifts. Milton really liked it. I was happy. After my school I adjourned for my basic driving theory. Pretty easy I guess. lol. I passed.

Thursday – I had a pretty down day, but I always tried to stay positive. And to make things greater that evening I had a cool time. I know may sound strange, Milton and I decided to work on one of our projects. Its was one of the nicest times I had working one projects.

Friday – it was the most tiring day ever. Sch was cool. GEMS was get. The gals in my group were hyper, very hyper. They were making fun of everyone in the class and laughing their heads out. And at 1:30, half hour through our class, after me marked our attendance, stood up, said bye n left. Hahahaahahaha. Yup. We left. After that, Milton and I worked together for another day. It was also nice. I did my work for 1:30 to 8:30. there was only one problem, the library was very cold! Brrrr! I was also so hungry. Haha had my brunch at 10am and dinner at 10pm. Between that nothing at all.

I had a little stumble. I learnt that I was losing a friend cus I was neglecting her. It made me pretty sad when I realized. Now I promise to mend this neglect.

Today – I took down all x mas decorations that filled my home. Cus yesterday was the last day for x mas.

A pretty nice week. Positive thoughts hv pulled me throught this week. I would like to wish all hving test in the coming weeks, good luck. Thanks Milton for the nice time I had this week.
God Bless

3rd day of the year 2006

School is back! It seems rather strange that its not the 1st day of sch but the 1st day of the last term of year 1. I felt a little strange, confused, cus I had the feeling that it was the start of sch yet I was just the continuation of it. I probably explained it in an unclear manner. Lol

Today in addition, I brought 2 tee-shirts, I seriously lack tee-shirts. Shirts have dominated my life for a pretty long time. Kinda happy that I got these two. Still looking around for more.

Tmr I hv my basic driving test. A little worried, but I hope I can get through it with ease. Wish myself luck. Lol.

Oh ya, today would mark one month to my 19th birthday. Wow, 31days left, the countdown began 100 days before my birthday, on the 26th of October. You guys must think it queer, me counting down my birthday. Well to me it a special occasion, despite people telling me it comes every year. To me yes it comes every year but every year is a different age for u. anyway Christmas and New Year comes every year so why celebrate that with such enthusiasm, n neglect the day u entered this world. Haha anyway, counting down.

Ok take care n best of luck to all for this year

God Bless.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone all around the world!

Finally, after so much of anticipation I enter a brand new year. I would like to start by saying that, this year, for me at least is the year of joy! Joy and Happiness should plague this year, only to wash away the sorrows that dragged us through the pass year. We have lots to learn from the year 2005.

For the 1st time, my new year was spent away from the common comfort for my family. Rather I ushered in the year with my close friends. Kinda disappointed that it was not possible for me to spend this special moment with all my close friends. Nevertheless, I knew that they would always be my side throughout this year.

I can safely say that this new year has really occupied me from enjoying this public holiday in peace. lol. Well for a start I came back home at 4 am. This was after my friends and I enjoyed the 1st few hours of the new year sitting and lazing around at the esplanade. Upon arrival back home, I had a few calls from my friends from England and France, sending me New Year greetings. On the phone close to an hour, I finally snuggled under my blanket to sleep, only to get up at 7:30 am. I did not set any alarm or any wake up call. Nature woke me up, I just woke up automatically. Thereafter, I turned to the newspapers to update myself on how the eastern cities have celebrated the new year, and how the western have yet to.

Church was my next destination. I felt a sense of satisfaction going to church on the 1st day of the year. Prayed for all me friends, that the year would bring joy to all. And also that my close friends would be closer then ever. At church, I met couple of my long lost friends, it was so joyful. I have not spoken to them for close to 5 years. Sadly the only “sobbing” thing was that, we total forgot to exchange our contacts. Probably cus we were overwhelmed over our encounter. Well I hope we can meet again to get the contacts. Silly me! lol

Thereafter, my family and I immediately went over to my uncle’s place. He invited us over to his house for lunch. It was interesting cus it was the 1st gathering for the Christmas seasons in our family. Anyway, something that made me really happy, was that I collect a pretty sum of money. I shall not disclose how much. Well we stayed there till 7. Now I’m finally back home, so happy to be home. I now am spending my new year at home. So what a busy new year’s day. Haha.

Now I’m all ready to start the fresh year. A year of joy!

Happy New Year!

God Bless.
