The Kuns BBQ

The Kuns!!!
Last Friday, the Kuns* had their BBQ over at Mr. Tan’s place. Honestly it was not a day for BBQ.
It was raining non stop the whole evening, just after the sun took cover, the rain did too. Min Min, Sang Dong and I met at Journg East, from there we made our way to Paya Labar MRT station. Upon arrival at PYL MRT, the rain showed us it hardest. And to make it worst there was not a single available taxi around. We reached there at 6:30, but only got into a taxi at 7:45pm. I was so frustrating, and pissed us off terribly. The wait made us hungrier too. Sang Dong could not take it so she started to eat the marshmallows and cherry tomatoes that were for the BBQ. When we did get a taxi, it was such a relief.
Upon arrival at Yew Meng’s place we tucked in to the food, we were SO hungry. We were also introduced to 2 of Gabriel’s friends from Germany. It was a cool atmosphere. The barbequing, the chat, and the food. At 9, Chris, Sang Dong and Min Min wanted to watch a tele program on channel 8, so they left the rest to watch it. We then played card tricks with Yew Meng’s wife. She is a really nice lady. She was also very proud of her corn that she had made, honestly I enjoyed the corn.
Close to 10, we packed up and clear the BBQ pit area and moved over to the house. There we were showed around the house and took photos too. Mrs Tan packed some of the food into little packets for each of us to take home. It was really cute.
I enjoyed myself greatly….hope we can have another BBQ with the Kuns* again.
*Kuns refer to those who went on the Kunming Trip in March.
