This is to show how important punctuation can be.

A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes its way towards the exit. The panda then produces a badly punctuated wildlife guide and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says, at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure ehough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

Non-Stop Action

It has been 3 days of non-stop action.

Sunday, three great matches, Brazil vs. Australia, Japan vs. Croatia and France vs. Korea. I group of us were to come over to me house for some soccer entertainment, sobbingly only 2 ppl could, rr & yeo. The rest had valid excuses, cus of father’s day. I was hoping more would come, Milton & Jabril. Well but even with 2 we still had fun. Plays cards, having a nice dinner, joking and doing stuff. I had placed my money on 2 matches, one I lost the other I won. After the last match, we dragged our tired self to bed and knocked out immediately. Morning started at close to 11 as we left for causeway pt for brunch.

Later that day I had an enjoyable dinner with the KunsTM at the Esplanade. It was a farewell dinner to Dr. Liu who would be leaving to Florida, USA on the 15 of July. He would leave his family here for a year to let the dust settle before he brings them over. It is a big step for him as it is a dream comes true. After a dinner, we walked out of the restaurant and admired the beautiful night skyline of the city. Every time I look at the city skyline I tell myself in 5 years time its going to change, the city will never look like this again with an introduction of the IR.

He following day Chris, Soon, HX, Kevin and I meet up at city hall. We then headed to Marina Square to bowl. It was great fun. I was not that bad, taking to fact it was only my 2nd time bowling. I was really starving by the time the game ended and I was close to dinnertime. We made a collective decision to walk to Dhoby Ghaut to a restaurant, Pepper something errrr. I forgot the name. Anyway, the service there was excellent; the food was ready even before u could settle yr payment. Tasted ok too.

After that we walked to Paragon and went to Toy‘R’Us. It was really fun cus we could see how simple stuff could amaze a kid so much. Moreover, when I told that to Chris his reply was funny, cus he himself was amazed. Haha. After Toy‘R’Us, we walked to Orchard we went our ways home. Though it was there, that something not too pleasant happened. Nevertheless I had fun with everyone especially Chris.

So next one is on Friday eh…. Hahaha.
Well let see 1st, cus if we miss this would hv to wait till the next hols which would be in August or so.

Well have a great ending to the hols and enjoy the soccer fever.

Finally got to leave home...

After staying at home and glued to the tele(world cup) for a week….. I finally went out…. i could go out the whole week cus everyone was busy and no one to go out with. haha.

A group of us…. Chris, soon, hui xin , marlene and Kevin decided to meet at orchard. Upon arrival I noticed chirs and Kevin being pestered by some guy asking for money. Haha. We later had a wired suggestion to go to Great World City…. God knows why.

We then went to the hawker center near by to hv a meal. And then it was pool. It was fun… thought I was terrible…. Like I always say I only spend 50 cent a year on pool… so how good do u expect me to be. Haha.

One other observation I noticed was a tension that I thought was still present. It was good to know that things were back to normal. When I got back home I confirmed this feel. It was true, I was all gone. Well I’m happy its all good again. Wish such a thing never happens again. Thanks( u know who u are).

Wot a sporty Sunday…..

1st, formula 1 with Alonso winning the Silverstone GP, and Kimi driving to 3th. A great race it was. Many close battles and evidently the seasons dominant had to win.

Well just as the race ended, the 1st Dutch match was played with Serbia and Montenegro. A first-half goal from Arjen Robben was enough to earn the Netherlands a 1-0 win over Serbia and Montenegro in their opening match of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ in Leipzig. Robben struck the only goal of an absorbing contest in the 18th minute, finishing confidently after his speed carried him clear of the Serbia and Montenegro back line. The victory puts Marco van Basten's Dutch team level on three points with Argentina at the top of Group C.

The match with much excitement is yet to be played….. Argentina vs Netherlands on 21 june.

Now watching the opening of Mexico vs Iran. Wot an exciting match it would be…

holidays....e learning....world cup...

Undoubtedly the most eventful week thus far….

The week was the 1st week after a stressful 2 weeks that lead to the term test. Test went pretty well, I guess. Haha. (will only know when I get back to sch).

E-learning was the highlight of the week. The 2nd time running, still as horrible as before. Though I hv to say it was a little better then before. My mates and I decided to meet up in sch so we could get the e learning done quick. The weekend before we planned and confirmed the timing and venue, but the morning of the day we were to meet, we all boycotted the meeting. It was kinda funny, I 1st texted Yeo and Milton telling them that I will not go to sch today, Yeo replied saying that he was tired and soon Milton said that we felt a little ill. Haha So we decided to cancel the meeting..haha

On Tuesday 06/06/06 (wot a day) was my parents 25th wedding anniversary. We decided to go out for dinner with the French friends that were with us for 2 weeks. It was also the eve of their departure. So it was like a farewell cum anniversary.

The following my family and I descended to the airport to bid the French a farewell and bon voyage. It was a little sad cus we did not know when we would see each other again.

As the week drew to a closed, the e learning was too. We spend much time on a link way assignment. An excellent assignment I think, should get a very good grade.

Friday was a day we decided to take a break from goin to sch, simply cus we had finished our e learning. It was also World Cup day. The 2006 World Cup, Germany was to commence at 11pm. After a very Bavarian opening ceremony, the opening match was Germany Vs Costa Rica. It was an exciting match which also saw the most number of goals scored in world cup opening in 30 years. Host country won, 4-2. It was a game played hard and well. A great start to the Deutsch world cup.

Tonight a well awaited match with England and Paraguay. The air is filled with soccer, so lets get the fever high! The match I truly am waiting for is Netherlands vs Argentina on 21 june.

stressfull week....

The week saw the 1st term test of year 2. Stressed, yes it was.... but it was also fun. Fun? u must be asking, smiply cus i love the times a group of us stayed back to study. Here we help each other, and time passes so quickly when u are having fun. I still remember the last time this happen...before our year end exam. Well surely there will be many more times together.

During the lst study night, i noticed something that seems strange....

Cus at time when we were tired, we would just relax and chat, it was only then i realised wot BIG gossipers guys can be. HahA. Gals are said to be good in it, but i think the guys are catching up quick. Well u must be wondering wot is the lastest hot gossip.........well, none i shall disclose here.

Then as the test drew to a close something totally unexpected had to happen, my glasses had to fall and break, and with out them i am as blind as a blind man..hehehe. But seriously i was suffering for 2 days till i got new ones yesterday. It was such a relif to see again. haha

Well the frenchies would be leaving this weds, dunno when i would see them again...i hope soon...
