
Fr. Louis Fossion
1914 - 2007
Born in Belgium, he departed for China in 1938 and worked there in Xiwanzi, then part of Inner Mongolia, until the communist take-over when he was expelled. Was sent to the Philippines where he founded a new parish for the Chinese in Manila. Later he worked in Belgium, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and ultimately in Singapore. For 28 years he was the beloved parish priest of Holy Spirit parish from where he raised the funds and built the Church of Christ the King. At the age of 82, he took up residence at the Church of St. Francis Xavier while keeping actively involved in many a pastoral task. In early 2004 he moved on into full retirement at St. Theresa's Home on Upper Thomson Road. He died on 25 of July 2007
